I had a failed AC system on my truck. I went looking for a shop that I could trust to do the repair while treating me fairly. The AC system was repaired quickly and for a fair price and I was on my way. I thought. Turned out that that wasn't to be. The failure reoccurred, but only under extreme load (while towing a heavy load). I had to return again. It turned out that the electric fan clutch failed to respond to the increase demand found during towing. Diagnosis and repairs made. I was disappointed that I had to return, but very happy that they jumped on the problem and made the repairs needed without hesitation. To make a long story short, they followed up on all repairs, went on a towing test ride with me to ensure all repairs were made and the truck performance was to spec. If I had gone to a dealer, this scenario could have been a real nightmare. Both in time and money. The guys at Spectrum Car Care went above and beyond what any other shop would have done and made a potentially bad situation a good experience. I saw integrity, professionalism and great customer service from everyone at Spectrum. I would definitely recommend Spectrum to friends and family. This is how a business should be run

Normally dealing with mechanics is a huge pain, but Spectrum was honest, fair and incredibly fast. I left it there overnight when my belt snapped. Spectrum had constant contact with me and kept me informed every step of the process. If I could recomend beyond 5 stars I would.

On 10/06/2016 I took my 1999 Chrysler Sebring, (61,518 miles) into a local Chrysler/Dodge dealership for front end noise. The car was checked for a "small fee" of $125.00. I was told the car needed $1,079.46 for parts and labor. Parts were not available and it would take 1 - 2 weeks to get them. I later checked the internet for nearby automotive shops and found Spectrum Car Care. I was impressed by the reviews and all the 5 stars given by the happy/grateful customers. I called Spectrum and spoke with Spike. After explaining the issues with my car, he came back with a quote which was $200.00 less than the dealership On the day of the repair, I received a call from Spike. He asked me about one of the costly parts, the left lower control arm, that the dealer said needed replacement. Spike said they had looked at it and determined it was recently replaced and was in good shape. My total cost, out the door, dropped considerably from the original amount I was expected to pay at the dealership.

I have to say that finding an honest auto repair shop is hard to find. I went in for a transmission oil change and Todd advised me of the pros and cons of a transmission oil change, I have a 2007 Volvo S40 with about 98k+. After his recommended suggestion I went ahead and made the decision to have it changed... my higher mileage car feels less sluggish in shifts and so far no oil leaks! Anyone can just sell what ever services for quick profits, but I liked the fact that Spectrum Car Car Center advises before doing the job.... at my discretiin, not theirs. :insert 2 thumbs up:

The most professional, trustworthy, honest, friendly, courteous, and thorough mechanic shop in the East Valley. Fair and honest pricing and wasn't sold any repairs that weren't needed. Performed a full inspection of vehicle and informed me of minor maintenance needs but did not pressure me to have them done. I recommend your shop to everyone I know. You have a customer for life!

I took my car and my wife's car in recently. They did a great job! Spike and his team are great! Easy to setup an appointment, friendly and honest service, and the prices are great as well. We will be back for future car care.

My friend recommended this shop because they were honest and kind and she was right. As soon as I got here I was greeted kindly, they took my car right in, they showed me something hanging from the bottom of my car and fixed it. I will be back here. It's hard, as a woman with no auto mechanic experience, to find mechanics that don't try to swindle you and nickle and dime you everywhere. This is the first time in my life I've gotten an oil change and they haven't tried to up sell me! Thank you!!!!
